Transformative Yoga Retreats in Mallorca
What makes a yoga retreat in Mallorca worthwhile, how a week at Curolla is usually structured, and how to choose the right retreat for your practice.

Why Mallorca works for a yoga retreat
Mallorca has mild weather for much of the year, easy flights from most of Europe and an interior that is far calmer than its coast. That combination is what makes it such a popular place for yoga retreats: you can practise outdoors in spring and autumn, and still be only a short drive from the sea.
A good retreat is less about the scenery and more about what it gives you time for. A week away from routines, screens and obligations makes it possible to build a steady practice, rest properly and come home with habits that last.
A retreat at Curolla
Curolla is a healthy hotel in an 1840 manor house in Maria de la Salut, in the centre of the island. Retreats here are led by independent teachers, each with their own style, from dynamic Vinyasa to slow Yin and meditation. You can see the current retreat calendar and book directly with each teacher.
What we provide for every retreat:
- A bright, fully equipped yoga room, for the group’s exclusive use
- Props: mats, blocks, bolsters, belts, meditation cushions and blankets
- Charming rooms with a 100% vegan breakfast
- Access to our garden and pool, and to a quiet coworking space
- Groups of 8 to 16 students, so classes stay personal
How a week usually flows
Teachers design their own programme, but a typical day might look like this:
- Morning practice: an energising class before breakfast
- Breakfast: plant-based, homemade and seasonal
- Free time: pool, garden, a bike ride or a trip to the coast
- Afternoon session: workshop, philosophy, breathwork or a slower practice
- Evening: dinner and a short meditation or relaxation
The free hours in the middle of the day are important. They let the body recover and give the practice time to settle.
Food that supports your practice
All our breakfasts are vegan, made with homemade recipes and plenty of seasonal fruit: nourishing without being heavy, which suits days with two practices. See our breakfast.
How to choose the right retreat
- Style and level: read the description and ask the teacher whether it suits your experience
- Length: three to five days is a good first retreat; a week allows a deeper change
- Language: our hosts teach in English, German and other languages, so check before booking
- Group size: smaller groups mean more individual attention
